The story of the princess and the dragon is a classic children’s tale. It starts with a princess who acts like a commoner. The princess’s way of life always amuses both her parents. Their daughter’s behavior and living surprise the king and the queen.
The princess would play in the dirt all day and wear dirty clothes. She found it difficult to eat because there wasn’t anything in particular that the princess liked. The chef tried everything, but he could not make anything that the princess liked.
The princess never acted like other girls her age. She never laughed or played with anyone. Instead, she would make offensive jokes about some of the old knights in the castle and no one ever saw her smile. Every parent in the kingdom warned their children not to act like her.
One fateful day, someone saw a dragon walking inside the tunnel of a mountain. The people sought help from the king and queen after seeing this, as they were terrified. This news also bothered the royal family.
Dragons were famous for abducting the princess and this deeply worried the king and the queen. Someone assigned the duty of protecting the princess to the old knight. This is the same knight that the princess would make rude remarks to.
This knight wasn’t happy about this task at all. When the princess found out that there was a dragon in the kingdom, she was excited. She thought to herself if the old knight could defeat the dragon. While everyone was asleep, the little princess went down to meet the monster.
She tiptoed into the monster’s lair and she found the dragon and what she saw surprised her. The girl saw the dragon playing the piano gently. She didn’t know what the dragon would do.
The little princess had imagined that dragons would be scary, however, the dragon that she saw was well mannered and he was also kind. On the other hand, the princess wasn’t expected to be neat, well-mannered, and kind.
Confident in herself, the princess thought that she would be able to outshine the king dragon. The dragon also thought that he had what it takes to be better than the little princess. They were both thinking simultaneously.
Both the princess and the dragon decided to switch their positions. They shake on it and they both agree on the plan. The princess took the royal nanny aback. She had no idea that it was a dragon wearing a dress.
The well-mannered dragon surprised the royal nanny. The king and queen, along with us, were surprised, and life was comfortable. Everyone adored the new princess and was happy with her.
The only person who noticed that the dragon had changed was the old knight. Only he noticed that the dragon made rude remarks. Now that the princess behaved well, parents in the kingdom told their kids to behave like her.
