The story of the cat and the fox is a timeless children’s tale. These animals were in trouble and they were constantly discussing ways to free themselves from the clutches of the dogs who were their predator.
The fox who was proud of himself was bragging about how smart he was and how he would be able to fool the dogs. He told his friend the cat that he had several tricks up his sleeve. The fox also expressed how he was going to fool the dogs.
After hearing the fox’s scheme, the cat felt inferior. She felt useless that she had no tricks of her own that she would use to deceive the dogs and escape from them. The cat told her friend the fox that she only knew one trick to use to save herself from the dog.
The cat told the fox to teach her some of her tricks. The fox told her that she would teach her when she had the time. She told her friend the cat that she would teach her even the simpler ones. This delighted the cat and she was happy to know some of the tricks that her friend had.
While both friends were still talking, they could hear the barking of the dogs that posed a threat to them. They could hear the barks of the dogs from a distance. Little by little, they could hear the barking louder than before as the scary dogs approached them.
The dogs came close to the cat and the fox. After seeing the cat, the cat climbed the tree and there the dog couldn’t reach her. While in the tree the cat saw her friend the fox still on the ground with the dogs. The cat was wondering what trick her friend was going to use.
The cat knew that her friend had several tricks up her sleeve and she was wondering which trick she was going to use. She then asked her friend which trick she was going to use. However, the fox only sat down. She was thinking about the trick that she was going to use to scare the dog away.
However, before the fox was able to think of the trick that she was going to use, the dogs moved closer to her and they were able to pounce on her. They pounced on the fox and they tore her to pieces.
