The Fox and The Crow

The fox and the crow’s tale is a timeless tale. The story starts with the fox’s favorite food which is chicken. Everyone knows that foxes are suckers for chickens. Once in a while they always prey on little chicken which they will eat as a meal.

The Fox and The Crow

Although foxes are known to like chicken, they also like a little cheese occasionally. One devoted morning, the fox received a piece of cheese for breakfast from a buddy. The fox described his friend as a bird whose voice was more beautiful than her looks.

The friend of the fox happened to be a crow. He addressed her as Miss Crow. One faithful morning as the fox was searching for what to eat in the woods, he happened to stumble across a fine cheese. The exquisite cheese’s aroma guided the fox. By following the scent, he was able to locate where the cheese was from.

The smell of the cheese was coming from on top of a tree. When the fox looked up, he saw his friend, Miss Crow with the cheese. She was up in the tree enjoying the cheese all to herself. A farmer on the hill discovered that a fox had stolen his cheese.

But the fox would not question the crow for that, he thought to himself. The fox then extended greetings to his friend. He told her that she looked really beautiful that morning. The crow bent her head to look at her friend.

While greeting her friend, she used her beak to hold the cheese firmly. The fox went on to praise his friend the crow. He shouted and showered his friend with lots of compliments and he made sure that she could hear all he was saying to her.

The fox praised the crow that she had beautiful black feathers and also complimented her beaks. While he was praising her, he could tell that her focus was on something else. The crow didn’t pay any attention to him and all she did was get busy with her cheese.

The fox looked up at the tree with nothing but admiration in his eyes and he expressed how much he loved his friend. The fox told the crow that she was the most beautiful bird he had ever seen. He expressed how he wanted to hear the crow sing and he was sure that she had the most beautiful voice.

He hailed the crow that she must have the sweetest voice he had ever heard and he addressed her as the princess of the forest. The crow heard all this and she was smitten by the fox. All the praises that the fox said to her had gotten into her head and she was booming with pride.

The fox knew well that the crow didn’t have the most beautiful voice, however he only flattered her so that he could get something in return.

The crow then started to sing one of the most beautiful songs that the fox had ever heard. The crow opened her mouth to sing and out of her mouth came one of the most horrible sounds that the fox had ever heard.

As she started to sing, the crow opened her beak and let the cheese drop out. Although the voice of the crow was not beautiful at all, however, the fox only flattered her so that he could take the cheese. This only shows how flattery can get you something you need. As the cheese fell, the fox quickly grabbed the cheese and that was how he had cheese for breakfast.
