The Ginger Bread man is a classic tale which has been told for many years. This story starts with an elderly couple and a little boy. One morning, the old woman made the decision to bake a gingerbread. She created a man-shaped gingerbread.
The elderly woman was pleased with the gingerbread that she baked. After baking, she thought of decorating the gingerbread with some icing. She used the icing to decorate the gingerbread clothes and hair. The elderly woman additionally decorated the ginger bread man’s eyes and nose with icing.
As the elderly woman placed the gingerbread man on the tray to rest, she told the young boy to keep an eye on him while she and the elderly man worked in their garden. The elderly couple went to their garden to harvest the potatoes. The little boy was left alone in their garden with the gingerbread man. He started to daydream, watching over the gingerbread as his only task.
The little boy wasn’t keeping an eye on the gingerbread while daydreaming, a task he had been assigned. Then the little boy heard a noise and he looked over to where the noise was coming from. To his surprised he saw that the tray which the elderly lady kept the gingerbread was no longer there.
The gingerbread man rolled towards the opened door of the house after falling from the tray. The young child sprinted to the door and quickly closed it to keep the gingerbread guy from leaving.
However, the gingerbread man was too quick for the little boy, who had already rolled out of the house. He rolled down the steps and before you know it, the gingerbread was already on the road before the little boy could catch up to him.
The boy did all he could to chase after the gingerbread but he couldn’t. Feeling hopeless, the little boy called his grandparents for help. They heard this noise and threw their spade and gardening hoes to also chase after the ginger bread man.
However, the gingerbread man was faster than all three of them combined and soon he was out of their sight. The grandparents and the little boy sat down to catch their breath. The gingerbread man continued running and soon he came across two men who were digging a well.
After noticing the gingerbread, the men questioned him where he was going. He told them that he outran and elderly couple and their grandson and he could outrun the two men too. He shocked the men and they asked if they could outrun him.
In order to pursue the gingerbread guy, the men tossed their picks after accepting the challenge. However, even they couldn’t catch up to him and they ran out of breath chasing him. They also stopped by the roadside to catch their breath.
The gingerbread man ran and he came across a bear. The bear asked the gingerbread man where he was going. Then he gingerbread man told him that he had outrun two elderly couple, their grandson and two men who were digging well. He said he could outrun the bear as well.
He was surprised, too, and asked the bear if this was possible. The bear also chased after the gingerbread and thus he was running him. Before you knew it, the gingerbread had outpaced the bear by running as quickly as he could. The bear seeing that he could no longer run decided to take a rest by the side of the road.
The gingerbread man went on and on and he passed a wolf. The wolf asked the gingerbread man where he was going. The gingerbread explained to the wolf about how the had outrun the ones before him and he could outrun him too.
The wolf agreed to run after the gingerbread man and so the two started running. The chase went on and on. The wolf could see that the gingerbread would out run him, so he decided to rest. The gingerbread eventually encountered a fox.
The gingerbread man told the fox how he outran the ones before him and that he could also out run him. The fox pretended not to hear what the gingerbread man said and he told him to come closer and shout it once more.
The gingerbread man yelled to the fox about how he had outrun the ones before him. But according to the fox, he was still unable to hear the gingerbread. The fox then stretched his neck to the gingerbread to hear what he said.
The gingerbread walked close and leaned towards the fox to yell about how he had outrun the ones before him. After hearing him, the fox asked him if he truly can. Within seconds, the fox ate the gingerbread man. This concludes the story of the ginger bread man.
