The story of the Little Charming Ladybug is a classic children’s tale. The story starts with a little, charming ladybug. Although she was pretty, the ladybug was still sad because she was lonely. The little ladybug was lonely because she couldn’t find her husband.
One fateful day, while the little ladybug was cleaning her kitchen, she found 10 cents. The ladybug was happy because of the money she found in her kitchen. She met her neighbor to ask her what she could buy with only 10 cents.
The neighbor told her to use the money to buy some desserts. The ladybug was cautious and she told the neighbor that she would not buy a cake because that would make her fat. She then told her she would use the money to get something else.
The ladybug then went to meet another neighbor to ask her what she should use the 10 cents to buy. The new neighbor suggested that she should get herself a gorgeous gown. She told the ladybug to use the money to get herself a beautiful dress with nice patterns.
The neighbor also told her to use the rest of the money to buy herself jewelry. By buying these, she would be able to wear the beautiful dress and niece’s jewelry and then sit by the window to wait for her future husband.
Hearing this idea, the ladybug loved it and left immediately to buy the dress and the jewelry. The little ladybug bought the dress, and she wore it with the jewelry. After wearing the dress, the ladybug sat by the window and shouted.
The ladybug shouted about who would marry her because she was a very beautiful ladybug with lots of money. While she was shouting a donkey passed her by and told he that he would marry her. However, the ladybug rejected him without a second thought.
The ladybug rejected him because she hated his voice. Again, the ladybug shouted about who would marry her because she was pretty and she had lots of wealth. While she was shouting, a dog passed her and he told her that he was going to marry her.
However, the ladybug rejected him without thinking twice. She rejected him because he could do anything, and that disgusted her. After rejecting the dog, she sat by the window and shouted again about who was going to marry her.
This time a pig replied to her that he was going to marry her. The ladybug rejected the pig because he was very dirty. The next suitor that came was Bull, and she rejected him too. Afterward, the next suitor that passed was a handsome rat.
The rat introduced himself that he was rich and handsome and so he was the better suitor for her. He impressed the ladybug, and she decided to ask him further questions. She asked him what he ate, and the rat replied that he only ate sweet treats.
The ladybug was amazed by him, and she accepted him as her suitor. Shortly thereafter, the wedding was scheduled. On the day of their wedding, the ladybug forgot her bridal bouquet, and she asked her future husband to bring it for her while she waited at the altar.
The rat forgot about the flowers because he was distracted by the aroma of delicious food.
The rat couldn’t reach the pot so he stretched his head inside the pot to taste it. However, he fell into the pot and got boiled. Meanwhile, the ladybug was waiting at the altar for the rat, but he didn’t show up. With anger, the ladybug went back to her house, and when she got inside, she noticed a foul smell.
Immediately, the ladybug went into her kitchen, and what she saw shocked her. The ladybug saw her future husband dead inside the cooking pot. The ladybug cried and cried. She couldn’t find a groom because she was picky and, in the end, she chose a greedy rat. This concludes the story of the little, charming ladybug.
