The little mouse narrated his whole ordeal to his mother. He told his mother that he was strolling and decided to turn to the farm yard. He laid his eyes on two strange creatures in the farm yard. The little mouse said that one of the creatures appeared fluffy and he looked kind.

The mouse also said that the creature had whiskers which looked nice. He also described the other creature as a scary-looking monster which frightened him. The little mouse said that the monster had a piece of red meat on his neck and he walked around this way. He described that the monster would lay his mark on the ground wherever he went.

He also said that the monster would walk around with its arms on his side. The little mouse also told his mom how the scary monster almost ate him with his mouth. He said that the moment the scary monster saw him, he wanted to open his mouth and swallow him whole.

The scary monster let out a scream that scared him. Because of the fear that the scary monster instilled in him, the little mouse was not able to make friends with the fluffy creature. He would have approached the fluffy-looking creature.

He further demonstrated how beautiful the fluffy creature looked. The creature had velvet fur bright eyes and a very soft face. The creature waved to him and he smiled. The little mouse told his mother that he was certain that the fluffy monster was about to speak to him and they would become friends, however, this was stopped because of the fear he had for the other scary-looking monster.

After describing what both creatures looked like to his mother, she then explained to him what the creatures were. His mother told him that the fluffy and gentle monster that he saw was a cat. The mother explained to the little mouse, that although the cat appeared nice, yet he hid a grudge under his soft face.

The mother also explained that the other creature that he saw was a cockerel. This animal would not hurt him even though he was scary. She explained to her little mouse that the cat eats the mouse and he better be thankful that the cockerel had scared him away. Otherwise, he would have been the cat’s meal. The moral story of the little mouse teaches us never to judge people by looks.
