Even though he was paid for his job, the money was still not enough to feed him an most times he would go hungry for days. This resulted the boy to eating some of the food he was meant to feed the pigs. This life wasn’t how he wanted to live and the knew that he had to do something.
The youngest son knew that he couldn’t continue living like this and he made up his mind to go back to his father and asked for forgiveness. He planned to beg his father and asked for a job at his father’s farm. Soon after, the boy left the city and he returned back to his village.
When his father saw him coming, the man immediately ran back to hug his son. The old man had missed his son so much because he had been away from home for a long time. When the youngest son saw his father, he asked for forgiveness from his father.
The father was so happy that his son had returned home that he asked his servant to prepare a feast to celebrate his son’s arrival. He told his servant to bring nice clothes for his son and take good care of him. The man was happy that his son had finally returned home.
