At the beginning of the story, there is a very proud elephant in a jungle. This elephant would tease the other animals because he was bigger than them in size. The elephant would go on to brag about his strength to the other animal and this made him very arrogant.
The story starts in a jungle which is near a river. In this jungle, the animals lived very quietly and they all lived peacefully in the jungle. Among the animals, the biggest of them all was the elephant and he didn’t let a day go by without reminding the other animals of how big he was.
The elephant would brag about his strength and bully the other animals. To the other animals, the elephant behaved in a bullying manner. He thinks the other animals are beneath him and that their strength is no match for him. He would throw them into the river and also threaten them. This made all the animals hate the elephant.
The elephant wouldn’t use his strength to help other animals, instead, he would bully them with his strength. The other animals became irritated with the elephant and they found him to be very annoying.
An ant was crossing the riverbank one faithful day. The ant was searching for what to eat. He was looking for food to give to the rest of the ants. This was the daily routine of the ants that went to look for what to eat. The ant walked past the elephant and he didn’t utter a word.
The elephant was quietly drinking from the rover. Then he saw the ant and splashed water on him. The water that the elephant splashed on the ant was much and this almost hurt the ant. The ant angrily asked the elephant what he was doing and expressed how the water he splashed hurt him.
The elephant told the ant that he could do as he pleased and no one could stop him. He also expressed how powerful he was and that no one could stop him. The elephant also reminded the ant that he was stronger than him. He then proceeded to warn the ant that he shouldn’t disturb him or he would kill him with his legs.
The ant didn’t do anything other than listen to the arrogant elephant boast of his strength. The ant then walked away and didn’t do anything. After he searched for food, he saw that the elephant was resting under the shade of a tree.
The ant saw this as an opportunity for him to get back at the ant. The ant then crawled to the elephant’s trunk. Then the elephant felt uneasy and felt that something was in his trunk. The elephant woke up from its snooze as a result of this. Then he felt a sharp bite in his trunk.
After the bite, the elephant was in pain. He couldn’t reach the itch and this made him uncomfortable. The ant continued biting inside the elephant’s trunk. The ant then yelled from the trunk that the elephant was helpless. The elephant quickly recognized the voice of the little ant and pleaded with the ant not to bite him.
The ant then asked the elephant to apologize to the animals that he had hurt or he won’t stop biting his trunk. The elephant had no choice but to apologize to the animals that he had hurt in the past. He apologized to every animal that he had teased and threatened in the past. After he was done apologizing, the elephant was tired from all the pain and the little ant came out of the elephant’s trunk.
The little ant then reminded the elephant that although he might be small in size, however, the circumstance made him a lot bigger than the elephant.
