The story of an ant is a classic children’s tale. It begins with a little ant who starts her day very early. She wakes up very early to get ready for work. The ant is very happy with how she lives and works hard daily.
While at work one day, Ant’s supervisor, a lion, observed how hard he worked. The lion was in charge of managing everything. One day, he thought to himself, that if the ant can work so much with little to no supervision, then she is capable of doing more work.
The lion thought that if he added more work for the ant, she would be able to do it. So, the lion sought the help of a cockroach. The cockroach was a specialist and had a profound experience and a good reputation for giving good reports.
The first task that the cockroach carried out was to establish a clocking-in technique. The cockroach couldn’t handle all the tasks alone and so he hired an assistant and so he hired a spider as his secretary. The assistant was a spider and his job was to write and type reports as well as monitor the archives.
The spider also had the task of tracking all the phone calls. The cockroach presented the report and this pleased the lion. The lion asked the cockroach to arrange the documents for analyzing patterns and strategies useful for us in board meetings.
He had to buy a desktop for this request in order to complete his task way ahead of schedule. Meanwhile, the ant, known for her productivity, hated the new documentation and complained about the meetings consuming her time.
Then the time came for the lion to appoint someone who will be in charge of the ant’s department. The grasshopper bought a carpet on her first day as the new position-holder. She also bought a huge and comfortable chair for her office.
The grasshopper also bought a laptop and hired a personal assistant who would help her to build her work and also plan the office budget. Now, the department where the ant worked was now boring and sad. In this department, no one laughs and everyone is quite sad.
After the lion reviewed the duties of the operating division, the lion then found out that the production was much lower than other records. Because of this, the lion employed an owl to help them. The owl was very respected and he was an expert.
He was hired to assess the company and make recommendations. While in the office, he made a huge report and concluded that the department was packed with staff. Because of this, the lion fired the ant because of her negative attitude.
After checking her behavior, the ant joined the office back and she used a brilliant approach to discover the best solution to being sales to the office. Because of this she was able to reach a greater height.
