The story of Diana starts with a little girl named Diana. She was a naughty girl who listened to no one, even her mother. Each time her mother instructed her, she wouldn’t listen to her instructions. Her mother was so angry with her reckless behavior.
Each time her mother tried to have a conversation with her about her attitude, she would tell her mother that she was an independent lady who could do anything that she wanted to do. She told her mother that she didn’t need to listen to her advice.
However, Diana’s mother always worries about her, and she couldn’t find a simple way for Diana to listen to her advice. Her mother was also scared that her daughter would land herself in trouble one day because of her attitude. Each time Diana made a mistake, her mother would scold her and tell her to correct her ways.
However. Diana kept behaving rudely without thinking about what would happen to her because of her rude attitude. One faithful day, Diana woke up early, and her mother saw her. She then asked Diana to sit on a wooden chair outside. But as always, Diana didn’t listen to her mother, and she refused to sit on the chair.
Diana then sat on a different chair, but the chair broke, and she fell. Seeing her daughter fall, Diana’s mother told her that if she had listened to her and sat on the wooden chair, then she wouldn’t have fallen. She then laughed at her daughter’s ignorance.
Diana was annoyed at her mother for laughing at her. Her mother saw her angry face and felt sorry for her. She then moved closer to her daughter and sat next to her. The mother told her daughter that she shouldn’t get angry because she didn’t ask her to do things because she wanted to dominate her or anger her. Instead, she asked her to obey instructions for her good. Diana’s mother then explained to her daughter that if she had only listened to her and sat on the wooden chair, then she would have fallen off the chair.
Diana looked at her mother with tears in her eyes. However, she remained silent. Her mother told her that obeying instructions was good for her and that she should always learn to obey. Diana’s mother told her that obeying instructions is a good characteristic. She told Diana that by listening to her, she showed her love.
Diana’s mother urged her to sit on her lap, and she told her that since Diana claimed that she was an independent lady and refused to listen, she would punish her. She told Diana that she could keep claiming to be an independent lady and not listen, which is unfair. Diana would be instructed to do things, but she would not listen, and all this was for her good.
Diana’s mother then told her that living with a rude daughter was unbearable. She told Diana that when she becomes an adult who has to do the household chores and earn a living at the same time, no one would like her because she was rude.
Diana’s mother then told her that she would send her to a faraway school to study if she didn’t obey instructions. She wouldn’t be able to meet her for a long time. Diana’s mother told her that she didn’t want to send her far away; however, if she continued to disobey instructions, then she would have no choice but to leave her.
The only option left for Diana is to change and become a better person. Hearing her mother, Diana’s eyes were teary, and she promised her mother that she would change.
