The monkey divided the bread unevenly and he said that the bigger piece of bread and so they should make the bread equal. To make the bread equal, the monkey ate the big piece of bread. This way each time the scale was heavier, the monkey would take a bite from the bread.
The cats were terrified seeing this and waited quietly for the monkey’s decision. The monkey ate all the bread, leaving little pieces. He made a decision, leaving only crumbs.
The monkey then turned to face the cats and informed them that he had divided the bread. He then told the cats that they must reward him for his hard work. To reward himself, the monkey ate the remaining piece of bread.
Someone left the cats with nothing to eat, so they went home on an empty stomach. The cats quickly realized their error and realized that the monkey had exploited their vulnerability.
