The infamous tale of the wicked prince begins with indeed a prince who was very wicked and whose sole mission was to conquer and rule the world. Whenever people heard of this wicked prince, they would shiver in fear because they had heard of his evil deeds and plan to take over the world.
The prince conquered other countries through war, and his soldiers ruined their crops and the peasants’ means of livelihood. The soldiers burned their huts, and the fire spread through the whole town and destroyed their trees.
Most of the villagers fled the scene among them including a poor mother who was left with no clothes as he fled the scene fearing for both her life and that of her baby. The soldiers caught sight of her and trailed her. They punished her and all this was okay with the wicked prince.
The prince approved of every evil thing the soldiers did. The wicked prince’s authority grew day by day and all who heard of his name would shiver in fear. He brought wealth from the town he had conquered and he slowly gathered riches in his home.
The wicked prince had wealth beyond any imagination. With his wealth, he built new buildings such as churches, palaces, and new halls. The people who had seen the buildings were impressed and praised the prince for their marvelous appearance. He was also aware that he had brought misery to many people and their countries.
The wicked prince would look happily at his gold and his impressive building and he thought to himself that he is a mighty prince. However, he thought that he must have more powers to himself and he must have all the power of the world to himself.
The prince is determined to conquer the town of his neighbors and seize all their valuables, terrorizing them. The wicked prince drove around the rulers of the conquered towns in chains through the city.
The prince made the rulers go on their knees before him whenever he sat at the table. The wicked prince had a statue of his own placed in public places and other places in the royal palace. The wicked prince also wished to place his statue at the altar of the church.
However, the priest opposed this and they told him that although he was mighty God’s power was much stronger than his and they wouldn’t put the statue in the church. The wicked prince heard this statement and thought to himself that he was going to conquer God. (only a fool would think so)
Out of the prince’s foolishness, he asked his servants to construct a huge ship so that he could sail the ship through the air. The ship was beautifully created with several colors such as the beautiful tails of a peacock.
Several eyes, each posing as a gun, covered the ship. From his seat in the center, the prince pressed the button, shooting bullets in various directions. The huge ship flew up to the sky with tons of eagles attached to it. The ground was far below as the ship rose to the sky. Within a few hours, the ship disappeared into the clouds. The eagles which flew the ship rose higher and higher into the air.
Seeing this, God sent his countless angles against the ship and the prince retaliated by firing his guns. As the prince fired his bullet, one of them touched the wings of an angel. Only one drop of blood from the angel’s wings dropped on the ship which the prince was and it burned it down.
The ship went down rapidly and sank to the ground. The angel used its strong wings to blow wind which made the fire ignite more and more. The prince was almost half dead in his ship went to land on the branch of a tree.
The prince swore that he would conquer God. He went on to construct a new ship to sail in the air to break into heaven. The prince gathered several warriors from various countries. A swarm of gnats attacked the prince as he sailed the ship on that day.
He received them and drew his sword to drive the gnats away, but they were unfazed. To protect himself, the prince asked his servants to bring him a cloak to cover himself. However, unknown to him one of the gnats hid under the cloak and he stung the wicked prince.
The gnats burned the place, and their poison entered the prince’s ear. He went insane in front of his soldiers and they all made fun of him. This concludes the story of the wicked prince. A small gnat defeated him despite his desire to defeat God.
