The story of Two Seeds starts long ago with a farmer. The farmer planted two seeds at a common ground. He included all the necessary fertilizers, manure, and also water. The farmer took good care of the seeds and every day he watered his plants. The two seeds were happy with the love and the care that the farmers showed them.
The seeds, grown by the same farmer, held quite different opinions about how they would grow. One seed was afraid that a snail would eat it, so it hesitated to grow and open its buds.
On the other hand, the second seed couldn’t wait to grow so tall that it could reach the sky. As time passed, the seed, with a positive mind, grew up to become tall. The plant spread its roots deep in the soil, and thanks to its wide roots, it was also able to quench its thirst.
After growing, the plant produced beautiful flowers. These flowers were so attractive that they caught the eye of passersby. People would take pictures of the flowers or compliment them.
The petals on the flowers would shine in the sunlight in such a beautiful way. Meanwhile, the other plant that had a negative mindset didn’t grow. The plant wasn’t able to grow because he had a negative mind. He was always scared of growing and having his roots destroyed by the harsh soil so he couldn’t grow by spreading its roots.
One fateful day, the plant that grew and had beautiful flowers asked the other plant why he didn’t want to grow. He told the plant that it had been years now and still he refused to grow. He mentioned that the farmers had planted them on the same day and still he had not grown.
The growing plant told his friend that if he needed help, he should ask because he was more than ready to help him. The other plant refused his help and he ignored him. He told the growing plant that he was scared because he had no idea what would happen to his root the moment he spread it out.
He told the growing plant how scared he was. This is because he didn’t know what he would encounter if he grew. A child might pull out the plant while it’s growing flowers, worryingly thinking about the possibility. So, he would rather remain in the ground until it was safe for him to grow.
